Steam Summer Sale 2026: Six Games We Would Grab Before It Ends
The Steam Summer Sale wraps up today, so this is your last window to grab something great before the timers hit zero. We are not going to bury you in percentages. These are simply the games we would put on our own accounts, picked for being worth your evenings, not for the size of the sticker. Our shortlist, straight up.
Baldur's Gate 3
If you still have not played it, fix that. A sprawling, reactive RPG where almost every wild idea you have actually works. The kind of game that eats months and you thank it for the trouble.
Elden Ring
FromSoftware's open world at its peak. Brutal, sure, but the freedom to wander off and get humbled by something enormous never gets old. With the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion out, there is more of it than ever.
Cyberpunk 2077
The comeback is real. After the 2.0 overhaul and Phantom Liberty, Night City is finally the game it was sold as. Gorgeous, dense, and a genuinely great time now.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Slow in the best way. A cowboy epic that is less a shooter and more a place you live in for a while. Still one of the most detailed worlds ever built.
Hades
The roguelike that won over everyone who swore they hated roguelikes. Tight combat, a story that actually rewards dying, and a loop that is impossible to put down. Perfect for shorter sessions.
Stardew Valley
The cozy one. Farm, fish, mine, befriend the whole town and lose track of time completely. Endless updates, tiny install, runs on anything. A comfort game for years.
Six safe bets across RPG, action, open world and cozy, all of them things we happily recommend at full price, let alone on sale. Grab what fits your mood before the clock runs out.
