Werwolf was a network of partisan units established in Nazi Germany in 1944 to wage guerrilla warfare behind advancing Allied lines. Members of these units received accelerated training in sabotage, covert combat, and the destruction of critical enemy infrastructure. These small but mobile groups were intended to operate independently, relying on concealed bases, radio communications, and hidden weapons caches.
Fighters in such units could be armed with the StG 44 (S), a modified version of the Sturmgewehr 44 assault rifle equipped with an L26 suppressor. The StG 44 (S) uses 8mm Kurz ammunition, fed from a 30-round magazine, and is capable of both automatic and semi-automatic fire.
