The collective name is peafowl, the females are called peahens and the babies are peachicks. In Meadow, however, you can be a female peacock if you so wish. Who’s going to stop you?
The scarlet macaw is a gorgeous kind of parrot that you might envision sitting on the shoulder of an archetypal pirate. In the wild, their life span is 40-50 years on average, but they’ve been known to live up to a staggering 90 years in captivity! The scarlet macaw is easily identified by its vibrant red body and the strikingly blue wings and is probably what most of us imagine when we hear the word parrot. And that beak is not a joke, as it can snap a broomstick in half, allegedly. Not putting my finger in there, that’s for sure. Not to worry though, there’s no biting allowed in Meadow.
