Hachiro Shimizu, a master survivalist and Japanese Naval Officer, joins the Strange Brigade after surviving a shipwreck on a remote Pacific Island overrun by monsters. Rescued by the team, he brings his skills to battles against monstrous foes. This expansion adds him as a playable character on PC, complete with the Decaying Demon Blast amulet power, Mikhailov-38 rifle, Marchador TT pistol, and Shock Grenade.
Players wield these tools in solo play or online co-op across all modes. Shimizu equips action-adventure fighters with fresh firepower and abilities for survival against island threats. Fans of cooperative monster hunts get a new crew member to extend their campaigns.

Once part of a secret mission to explore a remote Pacific Island, Shimizu and his crew found themselves shipwrecked and victim to the island's monstrous miscreants. Shimizu alone survived long enough to be rescued by the Strange Brigade, and has been with them ever since.
