About TomyTrouble - Extra Maps Pack

TomyTrouble - Extra Maps Pack - about the game

TomyTrouble is an arcade-style third-person shooter where players control a bear navigating colorful 3D environments filled with hostile enemies. The core loop centers on survival runs that reward quick movement, accurate shooting, and resource management within strict time limits. Combat mixes melee strikes with a selection of firearms and throwable explosives, while health and ammunition come from collectible items scattered across each arena.

Gameplay

Players move fluidly through three-dimensional spaces using run, jump, and crouch actions to evade threats and gain positioning advantages. The arsenal includes a machete for close-range slashes, kicks for additional melee options, and four firearms: pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, and assault rifle. Duck grenades deliver area damage against clustered foes. Ammo boxes and burgers restore supplies and health, encouraging constant motion around the map. Successful hits produce floating comic-style onomatopoeia effects such as BOOM or POW that emphasize the cartoonish tone. The game supports both keyboard and mouse as well as Xbox and PlayStation controllers for immediate play.

Four enemy types create varied pressure. Ducks attack from range with egg projectiles. Dobermans charge directly at the player. Cannons remain stationary but fire heavy long-range shots. Ties pursue relentlessly despite lower individual damage output. Sessions run on four difficulty settings that adjust enemy aggression and numbers, with each run capped at twenty minutes in standard play.

Game Modes

Survivor Mode forms the primary timed challenge. Players select a map and difficulty before entering a twenty-minute round focused on eliminating as many enemies as possible before the clock expires. Scores appear on a results screen at the end of each attempt.

Town Mode provides a combat-free space for exploration and practice. The urban environment allows free movement through streets, interaction with NPCs, and activation of OsoTV screens inside buildings to view random videos without any time pressure or threats.

Tournament Mode activates only on weekends in UTC time. It locks difficulty to expert, extends each match to forty minutes, and assigns one of the additional maps at random. Players cannot select the map or difficulty in this mode.

The Extra Maps

The Extra Maps Pack unlocks four premium locations for use in Survivor Mode on any day of the week. Fire Station emphasizes close-quarters combat with emergency exits and tight interior spaces. Forest Tower features vertical construction elements that reward leaping between rooftops, trees, and heights. Sequoia places floating platforms above a literal ocean of magma, demanding precise jumps around a single colossal tree. The Cave divides an underground area with a pool of molten lava and includes a moving target that must be shot three times to lower a drawbridge leading to an elevated garden surface guarded by automatic cannons.

These maps integrate directly into the existing selection menu once activated. No separate downloads occur because the files already ship with the base game update.

Is It Worth Playing?

TomyTrouble delivers a focused single-player arcade experience centered on short, repeatable survival sessions. The combination of movement mechanics, varied weaponry, and distinct enemy behaviors suits players who enjoy quick arcade-style challenges without ongoing multiplayer commitments. Town Mode adds a low-pressure option for exploration, while the weekend Tournament provides extended runs on special maps. The Extra Maps Pack expands Survivor Mode availability for those who want consistent access to the four additional arenas outside tournament hours. With no user reviews available shortly after release, the decision rests on preference for third-person survival shooters with cartoon presentation and strict time-based scoring.
