RATKIN
The ratkin is one of the mysterious magical races from the frozen northland territories in the world of Aldora. They rarely venture outside of their homeland and not much is known about them. The legends found in ancient scrolls in the royal library of Stormholme tells a story about the Vampire Lord Kanomaoenus in his black castle Keelborg that forged alliances with many magical creatures from all corners of the northlands. The ratkin was recruited in the second age to be blacksmiths and craftsmen in the service of the Vampire Lord and they have been living in a district within the castle walls since that time.

HAWK
It is said according to the legend that the Sorcerer Moortus Felix, a wizard of the first order who lived in the tower during the second age found an ancient tribe of a mysterious hawkfolk living on the border to the north. He described them as skilled hunters and a magical spawn of the Forestgod Korganos. When Moortus found out that their special feathers could be used to increase potency of magic potions he sent an army of goblins to wage war against the hawk tribes but they all vanished without a trace.

DRAGONKIN
The dragonkin is a mysterious breed of elder dragons from the frozen northland territories in the world of Aldora. Not much is known about their origin but there is a place called Amnolamire in the north where the red wizard from the tower lived for many years when he was a young apprentice during the first age. This is the birthplace of the Dragonkin Order of Xarras. In the old book of magic, the oldest book in the tower archives there is a tale about how the secrets and knowledge of fire spellcasting comes from the order of Xarras. It is also known that the dragonkin are caretakers of an old turtlefolk tribe from the grove of eternity and a spawn of Forestlord Korganos.

ETERNAL
The eternal is a mysterious and ancient race living in the frozen cold northlands. The Vampire Lord Kanomaoenus in his black castle Keelborg has granted the eternal their own district within the castle walls to do magic research for him. Just like the elves they can live for a long time and they are very wise. They have helped the black castle to withstand any attack from the outside the past 500 years. In the old scrolls it is told that the eternal is one of the ancient races of Aldora but they all vanished after the magic wars in the first age and not much else is known about them. There is an old tale about an eternal called Mazorathas that left the cold north to venture south and into the deep underground to the dwarven capital city of Glimmerpass. He instructed the Dwarf king Godrin in how to use eternal magic to dig deeper and find ancient gems. With this knowledge the dwarven underground empire flourished for many years.

TURTLE
The ancient and mysterious turtlefolk that lived in harmony with the dragonkin and the sirens was discovered by the red wizard in the second age in a mysterious place called Amnolamire in the frozen northlands. The legends speak of magical creatures born of nature magic and a spawn of the Forestgod Korganos. The dwarf King Godrin once commanded his warsmith Emeron to make a special shield out of a turtle shell to protect against dragonfire. He invaded the frozen northlands with a mighty army to seek out the turtles but was defeated at the battle of Amnolamire and retreated back to the dwarven underground city of Glimmerpass. The dwarfs later found a way to retrieve an old turtle shell to their king and the shield was crafted. This mighty shield is known as "Godrins Unbreakable shell".

SIREN
There was once a human warlord in the second age called Paolos Thowen that mounted an expedition to the frozen northlands with the ambition to explore and conquer new lands. He was the first human to ever encounter the mysterious sirens. Paolos described them as majestic, elegant and the most beautiful creatures he ever saw. But evil. Pure evil. The sirens made a pact with the warlord to take his army and help them defeat the invading dwarf King Godrin at the battle of Amnolamire. In return they promised to fulfill all his desires and he became the legendary bandit king Paolos in the eastern territories. The old legends describe the sirens as daughters of Sora that has been corrupted by the Abyss. Born out of chaos magic. The vampire queen Drasilla Frost on the cold throne in the black castle of Keelborg is the oldest and most powerful siren witch in all the lands.
