About Anispo

Anispo - about the game

Anispo is a fast-paced 2D real-time strategy game set inside a hostile digital network. Players command streams of combat units, capture network nodes, reinforce defenses, and outmaneuver rival commanders across customizable cyber battlefields on PC. The title combines action and strategy elements in a free-to-play indie experience that supports massively multiplayer online matches while remaining in early access.

Gameplay

Every match in Anispo begins with a small group of controlled nodes and a limited number of units. Nodes generate additional units over time, supplying the resources needed to expand a network, defend critical systems, and launch attacks. Players choose what percentage of forces to deploy and then direct units from one or several nodes toward a target. Sending units to a friendly node reinforces its defenses, while sending them to a neutral or enemy node reduces its security until control is gained.

Capturing more nodes increases production and provides new positions from which to attack. Victory requires taking control of the network and removing every opposing force from the system. The controls remain simple to learn, yet every match creates difficult strategic choices. Committing too many units can leave an important node exposed, while waiting too long can allow an opponent to secure the strongest positions. Players must reinforce vulnerable systems, redirect units, manage several attacks at once, and decide when to risk everything on a major breach.

Game Modes

The current build includes The First Breach, the opening episode of the Anispo story. A mysterious hostile entity has entered the network and attempts to gain control of protected systems. Players follow mission dialogue, respond to changing objectives, defend critical nodes, deny administrator access, and stop the intrusion before the entire network is compromised. Additional story episodes remain in development.

Free Play allows solo matches against computer-controlled opponents. Players customize the battlefield before each round by choosing layout, node count, starting positions, unit settings, movement speed, and random seed. Procedurally generated networks make every battle different, with some layouts encouraging rapid expansion and others creating narrow attack routes or contested central nodes.

Online Multiplayer supports challenges against other players through official games or custom lobbies with preferred rules and battlefield settings. Success depends on reading an opponent, reacting to incoming attacks, protecting production, and finding the right moment to breach defenses.

Core Mechanics and Features

Anispo emphasizes percentage-based unit deployment, node reinforcement, and unit redirection. Box selection allows commanding multiple nodes at once. Matches stay short and replayable, with adjustable map and gameplay settings. Players can customize controls, audio, cursor, colors, and visual settings. The game runs on PC and supports both official and custom multiplayer lobbies.

Current features focus on fast real-time cyber warfare strategy, the opening story episode, free play against computer opponents, online matches, procedurally generated cyber battlefields, and the ability to adjust settings for varied experiences. The available build delivers the core cyber warfare experience along with customizable free play battles and online multiplayer.

Is It Worth Playing?

Anispo suits players who enjoy real-time strategy with straightforward controls that still demand careful resource management and quick decisions. The free-to-play model and early access status provide access to the core systems, story episode, solo free play, and online multiplayer without upfront cost. Development continues with attention to performance, balance, polish, and additional content. Those seeking short, replayable matches in a cyber-themed setting will find the procedural layouts and percentage-based deployment create meaningful choices in every session. The combination of single-player story and multiplayer options makes it accessible for both solo practice and competitive play.
