In 1950s Spain, Francisco paints the lingering horrors of the civil war while shut away in his home. Voices echo through hallways, and something crawls inside the walls, drawing him toward a nightmare buried deep below. This 3D first-person survival horror game tasks players with uncovering house mysteries to survive terrors born from war disasters. Players navigate three levels modeled on Andalusian country houses, facing survival horror mechanics amid memories of famine, death, and betrayal. The story draws from Spanish Civil War events, with a classical Spanish music-inspired soundtrack. Fans of atmospheric casual horror games will find a focused challenge in confronting these personal demons.



Spain. In the 1950s. the memories of the civil war still tower over the country. Alone at home, shut away, Francisco paints the horrors of conflict. Remembrances of famine and death torment him, and voices of betrayal echo through the house hallways. Something is near, calling him, crawling inside the walls, deep below the foundation of his house. The heart of the nightmare awaits, for the painter to face the darkest episodes of his life.

Arruyo is a 3D first-person horror game inspired by Francisco de Goya’s “Black Paintings” and “ The Disasters of War”. The player will have to uncover the mysteries that await in the house to survive the horrors born of the disasters of the Spanish Civil War.
