Players control a lone hero in this tricky magical sidescroller, battling the evil Red Warlock Zahgrim to bring peace back to the land. Journey through side-scrolling levels to gather the magical eyes of Anakar the Wise. Fire arrows at foes and cast spells learned from scrolls, while picking up food for health and experience points to level up your character. This remastered emulated version packs in Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, and ZX Spectrum originals with fresh touches like save and load anywhere, modern controller support, full key remapping, and image scaling options. Face Zahgrim in his castle once powered up. Retro action RPG adventure fans get a faithful revival of 1987 gameplay on PC.

Originally released in 1987 for home microcomputers, this tricky magical sidescroller from DataSoft saw players take on the role of a lone hero, fighting to defeat the evil Red Warlock, Zahgrim, and restore peace to the land. Now, relive those days in this remastered emulated version.

Gameplay
Journey across a side-scrolling environment, searching for the magical eyes of Anakar the Wise. Fight using arrows, and utilise a wide range of magical spells. Collect food to heal and avoid going hungry. Find scrolls to learn new spells. Collect experience points to upgrade your character, until you are ready to face the evil Zahgrim at his castle!


This enhanced version introduces a number of modern features to this retro classic, including:
