Blitloop is a fast-paced, retro-styled space arcade shooter. You play as “Blit” on a mission to rescue orb pods and save the galaxy. Take down countless enemy ships and face massive bosses as you zip through a stylish world. And at the same time, rush to rescue the pods scattered across the level before they are captured by the enemy.

Blitloop blends the spirit and intensity of 1980s arcade old-school SHMUPs with the tactical elements of modern hardcore bullet hell shoot 'em ups. Earn power-ups to enhance the ship’s weapons, keep the bombs and missiles fully stocked, and prepare for fluid arcade action, stylish graphics, and an '80s synthwave soundtrack.

Story

In the future, the Galactic Federation and the pirates of planet Zirkoid are at war. On planet EX4042, the Galactic Federation is mining a powerful orb that powers all crafts and weapons that are keeping the pirates at bay.

An infiltrator droid from Zirkoid intercepted the information of the whereabouts of EX4042 and sent a fleet of forces to steal pods containing the valuable minerals.

The Federation was taken by surprise and was immediately outnumbered. This can be the end of the prosperous Federation and lead to a new era of darkness where pirates of Zirkoid could destroy countless planetary systems.

But all hope is not lost…

Meet Blit, a space bounty hunter that was tracking down a Kessel smuggler in a nearby solar system. She picked up the distress calls from EX4042 and immediately changed course, making her way to the orb mining planet

With her genetically modified spaceship that can absorb orb minerals to enhance into a range of weaponry, Blit is the Federation’s last hope to stop a galactic destruction.
