About Endless Bounce

Endless Bounce - about the game

Endless Bounce is an indie casual roguelite pinball game for PC in which players construct custom tables each run and chase high scores through procedural challenges. The core loop centers on placing and combining bumpers to shape ball paths, chaining combos, and surviving as long as possible across structured stages.

Gameplay

Every run begins with a blank table. Between stages players purchase bumpers from a shop and position them freely. Placement directly influences ball trajectories, combo potential, and overall survival time. Bumpers combine in pairs to create new types with unique properties. A coin bumper merged with a timer bumper, for example, yields an entirely different effect that only becomes known after the first construction. Once discovered, each recipe remains unlocked permanently for all future runs.

Five distinct worlds provide separate tables and backdrops. Each world ends with a boss encounter that removes lives and can steal placed bumpers. Defeating a boss grants access to a new ball type. Six balls exist in total, each operating under its own rule set that alters physics or scoring. Only the initial ball starts available; the remaining five are obtained from bosses.

Perks appear as small items that apply lasting effects during a single run. Some provide passive benefits while others trigger once to prevent failure. Availability depends on shop offerings each stage. The system encourages experimentation because combinations and perk selections change the feel of every attempt.

Game Modes

The primary experience follows a stage-based structure that progresses through the five worlds. After clearing stage 50 the game continues into endless mode, where players keep advancing without a fixed endpoint. Leaderboards track performance for each of the six balls separately, recording the highest score and the time taken to reach it. This setup supports repeated runs focused on optimization and personal improvement.

No additional named modes appear beyond the core progression and endless variant. The design emphasizes single-player runs with roguelite elements such as permanent unlocks for bumper recipes and ball types across sessions.

Key Mechanics and Progression

Bumper placement and combination form the central strategic layer. Because recipes stay unlocked once discovered, later runs benefit from accumulated knowledge without carrying over specific table layouts. Boss fights introduce risk by threatening both lives and existing bumpers, forcing adaptive decisions mid-run. Ball variety adds replay depth, as each new ball changes how the table must be built to maximize its strengths.

Perks introduce short-term variance that can rescue a run or amplify scoring. Shop choices between stages require balancing immediate survival needs against long-term combo potential. The overall loop rewards careful planning while remaining accessible due to the casual presentation and straightforward controls.

Is It Worth Playing?

Endless Bounce suits players who enjoy pinball mechanics combined with roguelite progression and table-building freedom. The permanent recipe unlocks and ball variety provide clear long-term goals without requiring multiplayer. As an early access title the game focuses on its core systems of bumper placement, combinations, and endless scoring runs.

Those seeking traditional fixed pinball tables or extensive story content may find the procedural and run-based structure less appealing. The leaderboards add a competitive edge for score chasers, while the five-world structure with boss encounters gives each playthrough a sense of progression. Availability on PC makes it straightforward to try for anyone interested in casual indie experiences centered on physics and customization.
