About ESCAPE SHOW

ESCAPE SHOW - about the game

ESCAPE SHOW is an action, indie, and casual multiplayer game for PC in which players compete in a televised escape challenge. Participants find themselves locked inside identical glass rooms arranged around a central stage. A silent master on stage uses mime and a large board to deliver clues that apply equally to everyone. The objective combines locating hidden task objects, sabotaging fellow competitors through brief raids, and escaping before rising gas ends the round.

Gameplay

Each round places three to eight players into matching rooms filled with furniture and containers. Objects required to complete three tasks appear in different spots every time, encouraging thorough searching of drawers, surfaces, and decorative items. Communication stays limited to voice chat within a player's own room, an emote wheel, a hand slate pressed to the glass, or a phone that connects to any other room on speaker. Direct interaction with the master remains forbidden at all times.

Every two minutes a personal tube opens, granting twenty seconds to enter a neighbor's room and disrupt their progress. No player receives immunity from these visits. When the main timer expires, gas begins rising from the floor, giving a short final window to reach the exit or risk failing the round. Fifteen distinct themed sets, including bedrooms, kitchens, casinos, garages, libraries, gyms, laboratories, music studios, and beaches, rotate to provide fresh layouts and visual details while preserving the same core rules.

Game Modes

The core experience centers on simultaneous competition across identical rooms. Players may join alone or form duos within the three-to-eight-player sessions. The structure remains consistent across rounds: locate task items, interpret the master's silent guidance, execute sabotage opportunities, and complete the escape before the gas activates. No separate named modes appear in the available information; the single unified format supports both solo and paired play while emphasizing direct rivalry through room raids.

Visual Variety and Communication Tools

Each set receives its own coherent collection of furniture, containers, and thematic details that hide the required objects. The master delivers identical information to all participants through gestures and writing, removing any advantage from positioning. Interface elements and subtitles support thirteen languages, automatically matching the player's Steam language setting. Voice remains open only inside individual rooms, while the phone and slate allow limited cross-room contact without ever addressing the master directly.

Is It Worth Playing?

ESCAPE SHOW targets players who enjoy competitive multiplayer experiences that blend puzzle solving with direct interference. The emphasis on equal information, timed sabotage windows, and a shared escape deadline creates a format suited to groups that appreciate both cooperation within rooms and rivalry between them. With the game listed as coming soon and no user reviews available yet, potential players can assess interest based on the described mechanics of searching, interpreting silent clues, raiding neighbors, and racing the gas. Those drawn to action-infused casual and indie titles with three-to-eight-player sessions may find the concept appealing once it releases.
