How to Save the Villainess
I'm the hero of a novelā¦ and I'm going to save the villainess!
I'd finally finished reading a fantasy novel.
The Dark Lord was defeated, the hero saved the day, and peace returned to the world.
Butā¦ did the villainess really have to die?!
Meet Edel Valenstein: arrogant, headstrong, and always ready to pick a fight.
Sure, she could be a painābut she deserved better than THAT ending!
Still fuming over her fate, I drifted off to sleepā¦
And woke up as the novel's hero?!
All right, then. If I'm the hero, I'm rewriting the ending!
Magic, friendship, and six years of school life!
You've got six whole years at a magic academy ahead of you!
Will you study spells in the library? Hone your skills at the training grounds? Or spend some time hanging out with friends?
Get to know a colorful cast of characters and make the most of your academy days.
And, of course, don't forget to get closer to Edel!
Build a spell deck of your own!
What's a magic academy without a few duels?
Collect and upgrade a variety of spell cards to build your own deck.
The cards you chooseāand the ways you combine themāwill shape how you fight.
One run ends. Another chance begins!
Even knowing the story doesn't mean everything will go according to plan.
Met your match against a powerful enemy?
It's okay. You can start again!
Unlock new cards and abilities with each attempt, and come back stronger.
That challenge that seemed impossible at first? One day, you'll overcome it.
Getting close to the villainess
"Hmph! As if I'd ever want to be friends with you!"
Proud and quick to pick a fight, Edel never makes things easy.
But spend enough time with her, and you might discover a side of her the novel never showed you.
Talk with her, face challenges together, and slowly find your way into her heart.
This could be the beginning of a bond that never had a chance in the original story.
This time, she's getting a happy ending!
You already know how this story ends.
You know what fate has in store for her.
But who says you have to follow the original?
No matter how many times I fail. No matter how many times I have to start over.
This time, I will save her.
