Izekai (異世界), which translates to "another world" or "different world" in Japanese, is a subgenre of fiction, particularly popular in manga, anime, and light novels, where a character is transported or reincarnated into a fantasy or other unfamiliar world.
This happens at the start with the player dying multiple different ways, and meeting a goddess which lets them pick blessings depending on those deaths (therefore choosing there difficulty depending on which one they choose). Then Letting them choose which kind of start they want from a set of one time portals they can go through. Therefore starting the game.
Explore Ruins.
In the game there will be hand made dungeons that the player can take on. Complete with traps, and boss monsters (Like what is found in Izekai Animes). With unique Items to be found in each dungeon. Sometimes the guild may issue to take on a dungeon and clear it for a bonus reward.
Fight Monsters.
Each monster will be set to a race and are only in one area. They Multiply and diminish there numbers with each passing day. If the player desires or by accident kills all of a race they will be lost and possibly throw off the ecology of the area leading to to much of another animal. There will be a way to fix this using a lab to regrow the species.
Travel to new worlds.
In each area you go to there will be a portal (although some will need to be fixed before you can use them) that allows you to travel to other places using a 4 digit 4 number combo. Some combos lead to good things and some lead to just death. While the player themselves can try every combo they want, in text there will be hints to combos or outright combos themselves to make it easier.
Discover Spells.
Using the portal players can access the trails for spells granting them the spell after completion or similarly they can be purchased from a merchant. Some can be found multiple ways while some can only be found one way.
Each spell will have a "intensity" level added to it making it so you can choose to use all of your stamina on one attack if you want leading to high risk plays.
Make/Take on Quests.
Making quests from the guild allow the player to get information on where things are located in the world for a small sum of money. It also allows the player to get recourses for cheaper but will have to wait to get them (a few in game days). Some quests will disappear after a few days. Some if not taken and completed could lead to negative Effects on the player, and/or the area it's self. Example not clearing out the rats could lead to a plague. Not killing the dragon could lead the mountain being desolate or growing new plants that wouldn't normally.
Idle Farming.
There is a world where the player can build and grow things outside of the usual timeline. Growing resources and wealth over time. Attracting unique npc's as it grows and shops for the player and those with there portals fixed.
Destroy the Demon King.
In most Izekai Anime this is the reason why they have been summoned is to go and kill the demon king, but it is not all that simple.

Killing the demon King doesn't do anything, because the demons how they are destroying the worlds themselves are using a forbidden magic that is slowly reviving a world eating monster. So the player can take the orb and destroy it ending the game or kill the world eater after it has been revived after 3 months (in game time).
Return back home?
After researching a the collage they player has a chance of making it back to the world where they game from. Making it another ending.
The beginning Story as offered to the player by they goddess is as follows:
A Brief History
4 kingdoms portal history
It all started when the demons grew tired of working as bodyguards. They took some weak humans to their planet to work for them. The conditions on the demon planet are not ideal for humans, much too hot and dry. These facts and more are why the demons are hated by the Humans. Even though in demon society the weak serve the strong, the humans did not agree with such slavery. The Gnomes and Catfolk kept to themselves during this conflict, because they wished not to end up like the humans that were enslaved. After one year of attacks from the demons a hero was summoned to help the humans to survive. After much thought the human hero decided that the best course of action for both races would be to go to the demon portal and destroy it. Therefore preventing them from attacking other races as well as the humans. He snuck his way through to the portal and was able to attack and destroy the portal. After our hero destroyed the portal, the destruction showed that there was no way the hero survived.
Furious the demons lashed out on the humans, the captured humans being turned into lesser demons, but still slaves working to feed the demons' armies. Then having less power then the hero, or seeing the destruction after, used their wits to “destroy” the other portals to the major worlds. Only being able to leave through small rifts where only one or two where allowed through and exits unsure. Not only that but said rifts can disappear and then reappear somewhere else.
10 Years later the demons got their revenge and succeeded in draining the magic from the human portal. Shortly afterwards they noticed their own folly and couldn’t find a way home.
Later they succeed in convincing the gnome race to tamper with their own powerful gateway to make it bigger only succeeding in its destruction.
Due to the lack of places to go the Catfolk stopped using the portal leaving it to be left to the throws of nature. Later becoming a den to a powerful beast.
