Pilot a spaceship through asteroid fields in this free-to-play action game on PC. Destroy as many asteroids as possible while dodging their collisions, which drain your 150 health in chunks of 25, 50, or 75 damage depending on size. Grab randomly spawning weapons like the fast-firing Minigun, high-damage Sniper Laser that pierces multiples, or reliable Blaster, plus health pickups and score-doubling multipliers to boost your totals. Small asteroids zip at high speeds for extra impact, medium ones drift steadily, and large ones loom nearly still but hit hard. Debris scatters harmlessly from breaks but still chips away 25 damage. High scores persist across sessions, drawing in casual players who enjoy quick, score-chasing runs.

In Parsec you pilot a spaceship through a field of asteroids trying to destroy as many as possible before they destroy you. You have three different weapons that can be picked up around the world, their spawning is random. Health can also be picked up from random spawns and sometimes dropped by asteroids.

WEAPONS

Blaster

Your starting weapon is the Blaster, it has a fairly lackluster firerate but can destroy any asteroid in four shots or less.

Minigun

The Minigun is exactly what the name implies, a Many-Gun! It has a very fast firerate and only slightly less damage than the blaster, making it a much more effective weapon.

Sniper

The Sniper Laser has extremely high damage allowing it to destroy any asteroid in a single shot. It can even penetrate multiple with a single shot, but beware of its very low firerate.

HAZARDS

Small Asteroid

Typically breaking off of a passing comet, small asteroids may not look like much but they can pick up incredible speed and quickly destroy any spaceship in their path and push other asteroids very far. They deal 25 damage if stationary but are likely to do vastly more at speed.

Medium Asteroid

Floating peacefully through space at a leisurely pace, medium asteroids are far less volatile than small ones. They deal 50 damage, while being more than small asteroids they are far less likely to slam into you at a high speed.

Large Asteroid

Sitting almost stationary, large asteroids are extremely dangerous if you bump into them but incredibly easy to hit and hard not to avoid. They deal 75 damage.

Debris

When hit asteroids can break into multiple smaller pieces. While the clutter may be annoying they are largely harmless. They deal 25 damage.

Health

You have 150 health, each 50 is represented by a full blue square in the bottom left of the GUI. Each size of asteroid deals varying levels of damage and you can replenish 50 with a health pickup, represented by a grey square with "+50" on it.

Score Multiplier

The score multiplier is a special pickup that doubles the points you receive from any asteroids you destroy while it is active. It is represented by a grey square with "2x" on it and you know it's active when "2x" is over your score. Your high score saves between games, see how high you can get!
