Completely Free: No in-app purchases. Total 13 (14) stages = 12 adorable stages + 1 big bonus stage + 1 hidden stage. Estimated playtime: 1–3 hours.
Note:
1. The adorable protagonists are thousand-year-old spirits and both are 18+!
2. Don't let the title fool you—if you're coming here expecting a typical adult game, you might feel a bit scammed.
【Gameplay】
The gameplay is super niche: you control the two protagonists in a dessert-illustration maze to find the exit. The maze is made of invisible walls, which makes it super easy to appreciate every little corner of the delicious artwork (the maps). The controls are a bit like a 2D RPG (see trailer), but there's no combat system, no leveling, no weapons, none of that stuff (I'm a lazy bum—I just wanted to show off my beautiful OC art, so the gameplay is pretty barebones. I feel like you'd only be interested if you like this art style).
【Story Synopsis】
Bunny suddenly loses his memory again. This time, Kitty brings him into the memory screenshots, trying to awaken his memories, but they encounter countless invisible walls blocking their way...
【Genre】
Overall it's a casual mini game. I don't think I've seen anything exactly like it on the market. (I only made this invisible-wall maze because I was using the GameCreator engine and realized it would be easy to make and super convenient for showing off OC art.)
【Art Style】
The art is by my three favorite artists. I've been commissioning art from them for 2–3 years now, so they're already super skilled at drawing the cat and bunny~
First of all, the title screen animation and loading animation are super cute. Even if you don't play, you can just come take a look—the game is free, after all~
Then the walking sprites are super detailed and adorable. (I'd even guess there's no more detailed mini walking sprite on the market.) It's really worth experiencing. The bunny's little tail twitching and wiggling is absolutely, invincibly cute~ The various dessert illustrations used as maps are also super tempting, and the art style is probably very unique in game circles!
The illustration in the bonus stage is a miracle among miracles. Usually, when art is posted online it gets compressed and loses quality, but in-game it can be displayed losslessly. You can appreciate every single pixel in all its glory! (I feel like a lot of players might be lured in by that image. But getting tricked by the cat and bunny is definitely a win (?)
【Music】
For the BGM, I directly used a demo of a previously commissioned OC song, "甜薯你" (a pun meaning "so sweet that you die"). It's super cool and has a really heart-fluttering, sweet vibe. It makes the already cloyingly sweet dialogue even more sickeningly sweet to the point of nausea ( )
【Other Ramblings】
Finally, this is my second OC game (it probably counts as an indie game, but it's even more purely for self-indulgence than a typical indie game). It's also my first time making a non-text-based game. I hereby set a flag once again: I will never make another game! Cherish my hair and stay far away from coding... So if possible, please don't play for too long. Or better yet, don't play at all (?) Because I don't want to fix bugs or optimize anymore. If nobody plays, then I don't have to fix anything, yay ✌🏻
