About The Dark Tower

The Dark Tower - about the game
Build a party of 4-6 characters from classic D&D races like Human, Elf, Dwarf, Half-Elf, or Halfling to confront chaos on Qaedon a thousand years before the Great Cataclysm. Warriors charge into battle, Rogues sneak for ambushes, Clerics turn undead, and Mages unleash spells from Arcane, Divine, or Planar schools. Tactical turn-based fights unfold on square grids in overland areas, buildings, and dungeons, with permadeath looming unless Resurrection saves your heroes. Explore Cleerport's region for quests, loot hundreds of items, and stock up on supplies to keep your party fighting fit. Customize units with dozens of attributes, multi-class options like Warrior/Rogue, and spellbooks, plus new features like illusory objects and memorized spells dialogs. Old-school indie RPG fans who crave deep party management and strategic choices will find hours of replayable depth here.

The Dark Tower is set on the world of Qaedon, a thousand years before the Great Cataclysm and is the last part in the trilogy that began with The Curse of Feldar Vale and continued in Mystery at Morgoth. Known as the Age of Chaos, humans, greenskins, and all manner of monsters fight to survive these troubled times.

The malevolent being that has controlled events until now has been named. Your party must seek out the Archmage Kornath who knows the location of the evil one.

Build a party of 4-6 characters to adventure in the region around Cleerport, to seek fame and fortune, or more likely find just enough coin to put food on the plate. The Dark Tower delivers old-school gaming with hand-drawn 2D graphics throughout.

If you completed Mystery at Morgoth import your party to continue the adventure or defeat the dark evil in stand-alone mode with a new party of your choice.

  • Hours of gameplay with multiple locations to visit and numerous quests to undertake.
  • Build your party from traditional D&D races (Human, Elf, Dwarf, Half-Elf, or Halfling).
