TUPILAK is an action-arcade roguelike where you skate on waves of concrete. The ground is never flat: a real-time wave simulation rolls under your board at all times. Read the swells, pump for speed, launch off the crests, and do tricks in the air while a ring of homing daggers takes care of the swarm.
SURF THE STREETS
No ramps, no rails. The whole ground moves like the sea. Carving the wave faces, keeping your speed through the troughs, and timing your jumps off the peaks is the core skill of the game, and it takes real practice to master.
TRICKS KEEP YOU ALIVE
Flips, spins and grabs fill your style meter. Sloppy landings drain it. Your daggers also reload while you're in the air, so going big isn't just for points.
BUILD YOUR RUN
Magic daggers orbit your board and lock onto anything that moves. Kills drop gold, and gold rolls into random modifiers mid-run: extra blades, faster draws, ricochets, lifesteal, explosions, chain lightning. No two runs come out the same.
THE ENEMIES
Pawns — fast hunters that never stop coming
Bombardiers — mages that rain mortar fire on your path
Spawn Pods — growths that breed enemies in waves. Crack one open early and take the gold of everything inside
A DEAD CHANNEL
The whole game looks like a broadcast leaking through a wall: static skies, VHS grain, white-on-blue menus, synth bleeps. Between runs you can read The Record: notes, complaints and confessions left behind by the people who lived here before the fall.
