The arithmetic is simple and worth doing before you buy. The base variant lets you sample new EA games for a limited time, the higher one gives them to you in full on release day. If you buy even one big EA release at full price during a year, the annual cost of the Pro variant can come in below it, and the whole catalogue comes with it. If you do not buy new releases on day one, there is nothing for that extra outlay to recoup.

Three things. A catalogue of Electronic Arts games you download and play for as long as the subscription runs. A discount on digital purchases in the EA store, which also covers add ons and in game currency. And the option to play new EA titles before release for a limited time, keeping your progress if you buy the full version afterwards. That last one is the most practical in daily use, because it lets you try the yearly instalment of a sports series before paying full price.

EA Play is bought separately for each platform and a code for one will not work on another. A subscription taken out on a console does not carry over to a computer, and the computer version works in the application where you bought it. So before buying, make sure you are taking the variant for the hardware you actually play on. Codes can also be tied to a region, which is why we only show offers available in your country.
