Anubis Temple is an action, indie, and adventure game available on PC. Players take on the role of a girl explorer moving through the temple of Anubis in an ancient Egypt setting. The experience centers on progression through the environment while wearing different costumes that alter character animations without affecting core mechanics.
Gameplay
The central loop revolves around guiding the explorer across temple areas. Every movement and action sequence displays the equipped outfit in full. The cardboard robot skin transforms the girl into a home-made construct built from square helmet sections, visible black hair, a red-ball antenna, colorful buttons, a needle gauge on the chest, and limbs formed from cardboard tubes. All animations adapt to this appearance, giving the explorer a distinct visual style during travel and interaction sequences.
Control remains focused on navigation and exploration. The skin functions strictly as a visual layer. It unlocks in the shop and inventory after purchase, then equips from the inventory menu in options. Once selected, it remains active until swapped for another option. No changes occur to difficulty, movement speed, or any other gameplay parameters.
Game Modes
Adventure mode forms the primary structure. This mode activates the explorer's journey through the temple environment with the chosen skin applied to every animation. The mode supports continued play after the skin purchase, with the costume remaining available across sessions as long as the base game is installed.
The Cardboard Robot Skin
This specific skin, titled Skin Robot de Cart贸n for the girl character, draws from simple materials and imagination. The design includes a helmet with the girl's face and hair visible, an antenna, chest details, and tube-based arms and legs. It emphasizes a handmade aesthetic that contrasts with the temple surroundings. Installation requires ownership of the base game Anubis Temple: La Perla de Egipto. Once added, the skin appears ready for use in the inventory system and stays equipped until manually changed.
Is It Worth Playing?
The base game delivers an adventure experience centered on temple exploration with costume options that refresh the visual presentation. The cardboard robot skin adds a lighthearted, creative layer for players who enjoy customizing their explorer's look. It suits those interested in single-player progression through themed environments and simple cosmetic variety. Because the skin changes nothing about difficulty or systems, it appeals most to owners of the base game seeking new animations and a fresh character appearance during repeated play sessions. Availability stays tied to the core title on PC.
