This free DLC is a gift from the Call to Arms - Gates of Hell team to its loyal community, commemorating 10 years since the team began the journey of developing “Gates of Hell”. It contains a few missions, maps and assets for the game.
As a big thank you to the community, we have put together a fairly nostalgic package for everyone to commemorate such a special occasion.
When we released Call to Arms - Gates of Hell in 2021, we had already been developing the project for 6 years - since 2015. That means Barbedwire Studios was founded 10 years ago, hence the name. Thus, the Jubilee DLC commemorates 10 years of work.
We want to thank our loyal community for getting us this far along, and look forward together to many years of development ahead. In this way, we share our love for the game and the genre that has kept us going for a decade. No support goes without a thank you.
With this DLC, we want to thank all the past members of our developer team and outside the development team who helped and supported us during our journey. We have added hints in the missions to celebrate their participation. A special thank you to all our volunteers who help us with moderation, technical support, translations, and a lot more. We’re proud of the community we’ve created and we’re thrilled to keep working on the game.
Besides brand new content, the Jubilee DLC takes you on a trip down memory lane, right back to where the “Men of War” franchise started!
We have recreated an assortment of “nostalgic” maps, missions and easter eggs that players who are familiar with the franchise may relate to, and created some new content which players and modders can enjoy.
The Jubilee DLC contains:
3 single player missions for the USSR and Germany
Some new assets, including naval and land units
5 multiplayer maps (1v1, 2v2, 3v3) based on famous locations throughout the competitive multiplayer history of the franchise
