REX Soft Clouds delivers volumetric-style cloud textures for FSX: Steam Edition, capturing the look of haze and fog in flight simulation. Pilots access it easily through the Steam Tools menu, where they adjust settings before launching the sim. The add-on suits low-end and high-end PCs with quick texture installs and a clear user interface. It packs 512 cloud textures across 16 sets, plus improved lightning inside clouds and varied base structures. Low-level 3D clouds cover Stratus, Cumulonimbus, Cumulus, and Stratocumulus types. Flight sim enthusiasts who prioritize realistic weather visuals find it ideal for enhancing atmospheric detail.

REX Soft Clouds is a volumetric-like soft cloud texture add-on for FSX:Steam Edition, designed to give a true volumetric feel to clouds and recreate the experience of volumetric haze and fog.

REX Soft Clouds is tailored to low and high-end systems alike and is accessible through Steam via the Tools menu in the Steam client. In order to use Soft Clouds, first run the tool and set your preferences, then close the tool and run FSX: Steam Edition.
