About March Out! - Marigold Court

March Out! - Marigold Court - about the game

March Out! combines real-time strategy with third-person action on PC. Players recruit and command armies across three technology eras, then step onto the battlefield to fight alongside their troops while defending or assaulting castles. The Marigold Court collection adds a complete set of cosmetic options that fit this medieval siege experience without altering unit strength, costs, or match rules.

Gameplay

Recruitment happens from a command hall or directly during battle through a recruitment panel. Armies advance through early, middle, and late technology tiers, unlocking new unit types and specialists such as field cannons, mounted lancers, war elephants, and war dogs. Commanders can rally nearby soldiers, retreat behind gates, or take control of wall weapons when enemies approach. Between battles, the walkable Commander's Hall serves as the central hub where players prepare outfits, inspect collections, and watch a miniature battle unfold on the war table.

The Marigold Court pack equips a themed commander along with matching melee, ranged, and heavy troops that appear across all three eras. Castle architecture receives matching gates, wall weapons, and fortifications, complete with wear, damage, and destruction details that persist through fights. These visual elements remain visible to other players in multiplayer even if they do not own the collection.

Optional experimental features expand the atmosphere. A day and night cycle changes lighting, moonlight, and torch use, while weather introduces rain, splashes, mist, and thunder that affect surface appearance without changing combat mechanics. Settlements add farms and villages outside castle walls that influence gold income when captured or defended.

Game Modes

Single-player progress follows a six-siege campaign. Surviving troops carry forward into the next encounter, encouraging careful management of forces and resources across multiple maps.

Multiplayer supports up to four players in several distinct formats. Castle War pits two kingdoms against each other across multiple castles in a longer contest. King of the Keep places two to four kingdoms in competition for control of a central fortress. Capture the Banner requires teams to seize and return a contested banner. Last Castle Standing focuses on defending home castles while eliminating opponents. Co-op Last Stand lets two to four players share defense of a single castle against waves of attackers.

Weekly siege challenges and special events such as The Long Watch provide additional structured play with permanent rewards. All modes accommodate the Marigold Court cosmetics, which appear consistently in both solo and group sessions.

Kingdom Customization and Progression

Players earn Royal Marks through battles to spend at the Royal Outfitter on cosmetic upgrades for commanders and halls. The Wall of Crowns displays rankings across multiple categories inside the hall, turning personal achievements into visible statues and plaques. Roadside tower defenses can be planned and built in campaign, Castle War, and co-op modes to control approaches to the castle.

Specialist limits and battlefield recruitment options scale with match settings, allowing larger armies up to a 300-troop-per-side cap in eligible games. Farms and villages contribute to economy in supported modes, making protection of territory a meaningful decision.

Is It Worth Playing?

March Out! suits players who enjoy blending army command with direct third-person combat in siege settings. The single-player campaign offers a self-contained experience with carry-over progression, while multiplayer modes provide varied objectives for groups of two to four. The game launched in late October 2026 with continued updates that refine visuals, add environmental options, and expand castle features.

The Marigold Court collection enhances visual identity for those who value themed armies and persistent battle damage on fortifications. Because the content remains purely cosmetic, it integrates cleanly into any preferred play style without affecting balance. Players seeking a focused medieval battle game with both solo depth and cooperative or competitive options will find a complete package that continues to receive developer attention after release.
