A revolution in every right, the new Desiro City family brought all-new efficiency, capacity, and frequency to Thameslink’s network. Capable of moving over 1000 passengers each, with a massively increased fleet, it was only natural to expand cross-London destinations.

In May 2018, the classic Southeastern London Charing Cross to Gillingham service was withdrawn and replaced with an all-new Luton to Rainham service, operated by Thameslink. Take on the role of driving the Class 700/0 between Dartford and Rainham, stick to the schedule and provide the bolstered capacity to Kent and Medway.
