Originally from the Blackpool Branches route, the Class 142 has been refurbished into modern condition. Operated by Transport for Wales, the Pacers carried an unbranded version of the previous TOCās livery, with some receiving a large TfW banner promising a fresh start with TfWās new fleet programme, which eventually saw the 142s retired in 2020.
As a bonus, the teal tones also carry across to the Class 150 and 153, fully representing the route before any trains had been painted in their new white and red livery.
