For many years, loco-hauled trains were the āmeat and vegetablesā of passenger rail transport in Germany. Unlike DMUs, which have a driverās cab at both ends of the train, loco-hauled trains needed a way to be controlled on the return trip, and the driving trailer allows this to happen with no need to uncouple the loco from the coaches.
This pack recreates Regional Express services on the Frankfurt ā Karlsruhe route, and features the classic BR218 diesel loco, double-decker coaches and DBbzf driving trailer.
This is a highly-detailed pack with many features, including variable speed windscreen wipers, switchable instrument lights and realistic operating systems
