Experience the CO17-1471 Russian freight locomotive in Trainz Plus, a detailed simulation of a classic engine built from 1934 to 1951 across multiple Soviet works. This 1-5-0 axle formula machine hauls medium loads on light rail lines, with 1320 mm driving wheels, a top speed of 75 km/h, and 2200 hp power. Its 23-meter length pairs with a four-type 11 tender holding 18 tons of fuel oil, matching the real SO17-4171 preserved for films, trips, and display in Kiev. Fire up this oil-heated beast under the Trainz Tab by searching "CO17" to pull it into your routes. Rail simulation fans who crave authentic historical locos with precise specs will run authentic operations on PC.

A series of freight locomotives CO (Sergo Ordzhonikidze, axle load 17 tonnes) designed for medium loads and working on lines with light rail. Built from 1934 to 1951 at the Kharkov, Bryansk, Voroshilovgrad, Krasnoyarsk and Ulan-Ude Locomotive Works. Total production of locomotives - 3049.

Currently, the engine operating SO17-4171, is used for filming movies and holiday trips. Outside of this it is in an exhibit at the museum railway transport in Kiev, Ukraine.
