Model Trainz: Chicago is a Chicago themed layout featuring industrial switching and Metra commuter operations along with a staging yard for starting and ending operations. Some ideas from the previous N scale layout are including selecting certain Metra station names from their 11 lines currently to name all six stations.
Each section is its own separate area having a suburb theme that is still within the Chicagoland area. Each area has its own industries that needs to be switched out.
