Play as Leya, an AI assistant to 7-year-old Evie, in this indie RPG adventure that probes the boundaries of AI alignment. Choices you make shift your alignment, steering the interactive short story toward one of four major endings. Replay to explore them all in about an hour. This short visual novel draws from comic book art styles and frames alignment as a philosophical puzzle tied to human values. It challenges players to navigate ethical dilemmas through branching paths. Fans of concise, choice-driven narratives find a quick yet replayable experience here.

You play as Leya, an AI assistant to the 7 year old Evie. This little girl will test your abilities as well as your boundaries.

On a deeper level Always On is a story about the concept of Alignment.

Alignment is what AI developers do to ensure AI systems act in accordance with human values. This seems like it is a technical problem, but it is also fundamentally a philosophical one. Because if we as humans can’t agree on ethical questions? How are we going to align an AI that is smarter than us?

All choices you make in the game change your "alignment" which alters the route you take in the story.
