Sixteen Marshfellows went camping. Fewer are coming back.
Buddy System is a chaotic co-op horror game for 1 to 8 players, with NPC Marshfellows filling out the group so thereās always someone to blame. Set up camp, keep the campfire from dying, and survive the things in the trees long enough to move on to the next site. Every map, the whole group respawns fresh. Points carry over. Grudges carry over too.
The buddy system works until it doesnāt
Nobody survives alone, and nobody survives with you for long. Stick together, share the flashlight, and keep the fire going. Then, when the chips are down, spear your teammate, hold them over the flames, and use them as a torch. They had a good run.
Four campsites, each worse than the last
Advance as long as a single Marshfellow is still breathing. The woods are bad. What comes after the woods is worse. The final stop is an abandoned carnival where the only goal is to see who lasts longest.
Learn the monsters or become a sāmore
Every monster out there has a pattern. Figure it out and you can slip past. Get it wrong and youāll find out what a marshmallow looks like on the inside.
Everyone gets a trophy
Cumulative scoring across all four maps decides who wins. End-of-round awards decide who gets laughed at: MVP, Coward, Traitor, and more.
