Forge your lance. Command every battle. Hunt the people who burned your House.
Deathmarch is a single-player mech roguelite with real-time tactics and pause. Lead Des Valdris and a lance of war machines through a three-act revenge story, turning battlefield salvage into the weapons and combinations that will carry your next assault.
BUILD THE MACHINE. FIND THE COMBINATION.
Return to your ship, the Iron Fist, to repair battle damage and rebuild your lance. Craft signature weapons, fit complete loadouts, and balance firepower against range, heat, and weapon capacity. Start with Quick Build, then fine-tune the details yourself.
Your choice of mechs changes how the whole lance fights. Field matching factions to unlock stronger doctrine bonuses, or mix factions to combine their strengths. Turn critical hits into evasive bursts, strip away armor with sustained fire, blanket the ground with damaging bombardment fields, or turn enemy wrecks into allied hosts.
PAUSE. PLAN. UNLEASH.
Pause the battle, reposition your mechs, choose targets, and resume to watch your plan unfold. Keep artillery at range, flank with strikers, and use called shots to break specific armor sections.
Crater the ground, demolish defenses, and fight between islands in shallow water. Deploy turrets, call down the Iron Fist's orbital firepower, or unlock Chronolith powers that summon reinforcements from a collapsed timeline. Optional Auto Play handles the lance until you take command.
BUILD VETERANS. GROW YOUR COMMAND MECH.
Pilots earn experience and advance from Rookie to Veteran to Ace, unlocking role-specific abilities. Pair their skills with the machines and tactics you want to field.
Des's bonded command mech develops separately: improve its defenses, weapon capacity, and heat tolerance, and draft perks that strengthen your mech or support the lance. Its size and regalia evolve as the bond grows.
THREE ACTS. THREE NAMES. ONE RECKONING.
House Valdris fell at Blackridge. Follow the trail of its betrayers through rival factions, corrupted lands, and the alien Silence. Voiced crew conversations, rival encounters, and faction lore reveal the history behind the war.
Choose a branching route through fifteen operations, with salvage, stores, and story encounters shaping the march. Assault bases, hold defensive lines, board enemy ships, and face bosses. Carry your equipment and battle damage between operations. When a run ends, the ancient Chronolith offers another chance: choose a new path and build a different lance.
