Battlefield 6 is joining Xbox Game Pass on October 13. Microsoft just dropped the first October wave, and EA's shooter is easily the biggest name on it.
Nine games land between October 8 and 16. Seven of them are brand new releases that go straight into the service on launch day. Throw in Gears of War: E-Day, which subscribers have been playing since October 6, and that's a pretty stacked couple of weeks.
Battlefield 6 launched on October 10, 2025 and smashed series records. It sold over 7 million copies in three days and shot straight to the top of Steam's best-sellers. Since then it's had a steady run of seasons (plus a Top Gun collab, of all things), and the March layoffs at Battlefield Studios didn't stop the updates.
It's coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud. Honestly? I think this is the best time to jump in. The servers are still busy and trying it won't cost you anything beyond the sub.
Everything hits Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Neon Abyss 2 is the only one that also lands in Game Pass Premium.
The catch? Nine games leave the same day. The big one is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which still hurts a bit. A Plague Tale: Requiem, Pacific Drive and Evil West are going too. Crime Scene Cleaner and Donut County are also on the way out. So are Nova Roma, Superball and The Casting of Frank Stone.
If you've got Expedition 33 half-finished, wrap it up this week. Battlefield isn't going anywhere.
