The basis is a Wilson score calculated from Steam reviews. A plain share of positive opinions would favour games with a handful of reviews, since ten votes make a clean sweep easy. A Wilson score corrects for sample size and pushes down titles that few people have spoken about. On top of that a two hundred review floor applies, so fresh releases with an enthusiastic but short opinion history do not qualify. We take fifty entries and recalculate them nightly. The percentage shown next to each game is that score, not the raw share of positive reviews.

The price next to a title is the cheapest current offer among the 40 plus stores we track, picked from the offers available in your country. Stores block some keys by region and we account for those blocks, so you will not see a price you could not act on anyway. When a game is discounted we show the reference price beside it along with the size of the cut. Entries whose current price has matched the all time low are marked separately, because that is the one moment when waiting for more has no basis.

If the price is not sitting at the all time low, it pays to check how far off it is. Open the game page, where you will find the full list of stores with their current offers and a chart showing how deep the price has gone before and how often. When the gap is small, waiting rarely pays. When it is wide, set a price alert with your own threshold: we check offers every five minutes and send an email when one drops below your figure.
