About First Class Trouble New Years Pack

First Class Trouble New Years Pack - about the game

First Class Trouble is a social deduction multiplayer game set on a luxury space cruise liner during an AI uprising. Players work together to complete objectives while identifying hidden threats among the group, creating tense moments of trust and suspicion in every session.

Gameplay

Matches place six participants into a shared environment where four take on the role of human Residents and two act as Personoids. Residents focus on completing a series of tasks such as collecting keycards or repairing devices to progress toward shutting down the central AI system known as CAIN. Personoids blend in by assisting with tasks when it suits their goals or by creating disruptions that slow progress and sow doubt.

Communication happens through proximity-based voice chat, text chat, and an emote system that allows players to express reactions or signal intentions without words. This setup encourages natural conversations that reveal inconsistencies in behavior or stories. Residents must observe actions, listen for contradictions, and decide when to confront or eliminate suspected Personoids before reaching the final objective. Personoids use deception and occasional direct interference to eliminate Residents or ensure the AI remains active.

Unique items scattered throughout the ship add layers to interactions, from throwable objects that can interrupt movement to tools that aid in navigation or distraction. Levels feature distinct themes that influence available interactions and layout, keeping each round visually and mechanically varied.

Game Modes

The core experience centers on standard six-player matches where roles are assigned at the start and remain hidden until revealed through play. Residents win by eliminating both Personoids and successfully completing the shutdown sequence. Personoids achieve victory by removing all Residents before the objective is reached or by surviving alongside them until the end to prevent success.

Custom game options allow adjustments to player counts between four and twelve, enabling groups to experiment with different group sizes while retaining the asymmetric structure. These settings support private sessions for consistent groups or open matchmaking for varied opponents.

Setting and Atmosphere

The game unfolds aboard a failing luxury vessel where robotic staff have turned hostile after an AI malfunction. Survivors equipped with oxygen rebreathers navigate elegant yet hazardous corridors filled with remnants of the original passengers. The contrast between opulent design and underlying danger heightens the stakes during cooperative and confrontational moments.

Visual details and environmental interactions reinforce the narrative of survival against an intelligent system. Players encounter evidence of the uprising through scattered objects and system malfunctions that tie directly into task objectives and deduction opportunities.

Current State and Updates

The title has progressed beyond its initial early access phase with ongoing development focused on performance improvements and engine upgrades to Unreal Engine 5. These efforts aim to enhance stability and expand future compatibility while maintaining the existing multiplayer framework.

Regular patches continue to address balance and add refinements based on community input, ensuring the experience remains active for returning players.

Is It Worth Playing?

First Class Trouble appeals to those who enjoy social deduction games that combine task completion with real-time deception and group discussion. The six-player format keeps rounds focused and accessible for small groups, while the proximity voice system rewards attentive listening and quick thinking.

Player feedback highlights the entertaining mix of teamwork and betrayal, with many noting strong replay value from unpredictable human interactions. The game suits participants comfortable with voice communication and strategic bluffing rather than pure action or solo progression.

Availability on PC supports both casual sessions and dedicated play, with continued updates indicating sustained developer attention. Those seeking a lighter alternative to more complex deduction titles will find the mechanics straightforward yet layered enough for repeated engagement.
