Best Steam Deals This Week (July 27 - August 2, 2026)

Three publisher sales landed on top of each other this week. EA emptied most of its shelf, WB put the whole Arkham trilogy back on the floor, and CD Projekt dropped all three Witchers next to Cyberpunk 2077. That makes 25 Steam deals, discounts up to 95%, prices from 1.04 GBP, and close to half the list is sitting at the cheapest price we have ever logged on Steam.

Highlights of the Week

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt heads the list at 80% off, 4.99 GBP, and it is the one deal up here we would argue with. Nothing wrong with the game: 96% positive from 766K players, still the open world everything else gets measured against eleven years on. But we have logged it at half this price, and this is the base game, so Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are still separate purchases. The rest of the trilogy is where the value hides. The Witcher 2 at 2.24 GBP and the original The Witcher at 1.04 GBP are both at the lowest Steam price we have on record, and all three together cost less than one new indie.

The EA half of this list is a bin dive, and we mean that with affection. Titanfall 2 at 3.74 GBP is the easy one, and even if you never touch multiplayer the campaign pays for itself the second the time travel level starts. Need for Speed Heat is the deepest cut on the page at 95% off (2.99 GBP), the lowest we have ever logged for it, and it is a good arcade racer the moment you stop wishing it were Most Wanted. Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 both sit at 3.49 GBP with lobbies that somehow still fill, though we have logged both at half that.

Two big RPGs hit their floor in the same week: Cyberpunk 2077 at 70% off (14.99 GBP) and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition at 8.74 GBP, both level with the cheapest Steam price in our records. Add the Batman: Arkham run, Asylum at 2.24 GBP, City at 2.99 GBP and Knight at 3.19 GBP, all three at their logged low. Knight still has the Batmobile problem it had in 2015. It is also still the best looking Batman game anyone has made.

Should You Buy Now or Wait?

Buy without thinking: Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim Special Edition, both Borderlands (4.99 GBP for 2, 4.99 GBP for 3), the full Arkham trilogy, South Park: The Stick of Truth at 5.19 GBP and Far Cry 3 at 3.39 GBP. Every one of those is level with the lowest Steam price in our logs, so waiting only earns you a longer backlog. Hitman: Absolution at 1.49 GBP is the throwaway pick that is not throwaway at all, the odd stealth entry in the series, and 43K reviewers at 93% positive are fine with odd.

A few we would leave for later. Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 are double their best logged price, and EA runs this sale often enough that another shot is coming. STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order at 6.99 GBP is two and a half times what we have seen it go for. It Takes Two at 10.49 GBP is half again over its low, which stings when you remember you still have to talk a friend into it. Mass Effect Legendary Edition at 7.49 GBP is near enough double its floor. And Golf With Your Friends at 4.99 GBP is nowhere near the bargain that 90% tag implies, we have logged it far cheaper than this.

Besiege at 2.55 GBP is not at its low either and it is going in the cart anyway. A decade of building siege engines out of spite, 95% positive from 45K people, and the physics still produces things no designer ever planned. Some weeks that is the entire pitch.
